Ashes spread, Henrietta “Hanale” Pearl Visser

In June of 2011, the family of Hanale Visser gathered to spread her ashes in the waters of Kiholo Bay. Hanale was born in Lahaina but spent most of her adult life on Oʻahu before retiring to Waimea, Hawaiʻi Island with her husband Gilbert Visser. Her family spread her ashes in the middle of the bay at the same spot where they had spread Gilbert’s ashes two decades earlier.
